Introduction
Judgment is certain but not all God’s judgment is necessarily negative against human beings.
We are usually associating it with negativity because we know that He is a Holy God and we are the opposite.
Yet there are many who profess belief in God but really have no idea of the biblical truth of His holiness. Many apply their own standard of perceived holiness.
They take their own idea of holiness and maybe spit and polish it a little and then they attribute it to their concept of God and His character.
For them, such a God may judge tyrants, dictators, serial killers, murderers, bank robbers and the like, but never a good and decent person like themselves.
Where do such notions come from? It doesn’t come from the Bible. You can’t get such an idea from taking into account the whole council of the word of God. All we have to do is just look at our text to verses 6-8:
I. The Recompense of Judgment (6-8).
I. The Recompense of Judgment (6-8).
II. The Impartiality of Judgment (9-11).
